3月底，終於把某家要求一大堆的線上申請丟了出去，一個多月的辛苦準備換來頁面上一句：「Your application has been submitted.」。系統沒有自動的確認信、沒有一堆奇怪指示、不用繳貴的想殺人的申請費，讓我覺得申請的有點不真實。但看到PTT版上有人寫此學校收到他的申請後，不到一個禮拜就和他連絡面試事宜。所以我想應該不會很久，信箱裡就會躺著好消息了吧。

真是好傻好天真，人到底要兩光幾次才會清醒。

申請書像丟到海裡一樣，什麼動靜也沒有。加上我在申請之前有些問題寫信問系上，竟然過了三個禮拜才回我，而且還答非所問。兩光魚開始有點緊張，開始寫信給admission manager。

沒回應。

你們歐洲人不喜歡工作是吧，好，讓你見識台灣人的毅力，RESEND。

直到resend過幾次都沒有回應之後，我只好硬著頭皮試著打電話過去。第一次不在開會去了，後來更扯，電話答錄機。我開始對自己喪失信心，「我竟然申請這種沒效率的學校，就算上了我真的要唸嗎！！！」。

直到昨天，又看到版上有人po說這家學校很奇怪，我以為遇到同是天涯淪落人了，結果沒想到內容竟是學校直接要他去辦MVV！這人還說連admission都沒看到竟然要他直接辦簽證，學校的思維真是讓他猜不透阿。

我立刻覺得急怒攻心，今天一早起來做完托福模考後，開始擬吵架稿準備再打電話去。不過孟子大概希望我變成聖人，按照孟老的規矩，我的心志還沒苦夠，所以接下來一直碰壁。

在我打了N次電話未果後，我改打到International Office去，終於有個小姐接了。雖然她沒辦法解決我的問題，但她說要幫我留電話請manager回覆我。我很驚訝，問她說：
「Are you sure about that？ It's an international call.」
她也笑了，很親切的說：「Don't worry, we do this all the time.」
跟她哈拉了一陣就掛了電話。

這陣子一直練習托福聽力，突然覺得我自己也可以編考題。
因為這種對話情境在聽力考試的long conversation常出現。

Student (S)：「Excuse me, I have some questions about my application of master program. I'm wondering if there's someone could answer my questions.」

Office Staff (O) 「Yes, but...er....you know only admission office could answer you questions, but I can help you to get the person. She is able to ........」

S：「Excuse me, may I have her name？」

O：「Van Zantvoort.」

S：「What? oh, how to pronounce Zan...？」

O：「Zantvoort.」

S：「Okay, so.... Miss Zantvoort or......？」

O：「Yes.」

S：「Thank you for helping me this. I'll ask her my questions.」

O：「You're welcom. I'll put you through.」

Bee-----Bee-----Bee-----Bee----Bee----Bee----Bee----Bee----

O：「I'm sorry, she might have a meeting or something. May I have you phone number？ I'll ask her to call back.」

S：「Are you sure about that？ It's an international call.」

O：「Don't worry. We do this all the time.」

S：「Okay, er......the nation code is 886.」

O：「And......？」

S：「9XX, 6XX, 8XX. My last name is Chang. C-H-A-N-G.」

O：「And your first name？」

S：「Yi-Yun. It's a little difficult to pronounce, er......」

O：「Yi-Yun Chang, is that right？」

S：「That's right!」

O：「Huh, I'll leave your information to her and ask her to call back to solve your problems.」

S：「Thank you, thank you very much.」

O：「You're welcome. Have a nice day.」

Now get ready to answer the questions.

Why dose the staff says this：「Have a nice day.」？

A. Because the student has a bad day today.
B. She means today is a nice day.
C. She says goodbye in a polite way.
D. She wants to have a good day.
E. She wants the student to have a nice day.

當然真實考試不會出這麼簡單的對話跟考題，還有一點都不模擬兩可的答案選項。
